I’m Brooke, welcome!

There will be a ton of amazing contributors sharing some awesome things, but I know how important this about stuff is, so here we go.

I’m a curvy redhead married to my love with three children, one of whom has four legs and is furry. I run a successful boudoir and glamour photography business in Denver, CO that specializes in photography for women and couples. What the heck is boudoir? Technically, it means ladies’ dressing room in French. In my world, it means that I am able to work with women when they are vulnerable (no clothes on) and show them how amazing they really look.

What does that mean for you? Well, a few things. One, I know the ins and outs of running a business, and how exhausting it can be. Two, I’m very straight forward with my business – if a woman doesn’t look great in that pose, I will tell her. My clients appreciate it – and YOU will appreciate it too. In my workshops and mentoring, I will be completely straight with you. I’ve been known to drop a few naughty words every now and again, but hey, let’s be real – sometimes the more G rated words just won’t cut it where a big huge FUCK is necessary!

WHY am I qualified to help you learn how to run your own business? Because I’ve been there. I know how frustrating it can be when you JUST NEED ONE BIT OF INFORMATION to get a specific promotion going, or when you were a little confused on something that seems so small to the rest of the world. I remember being in tears many years ago, trying so hard to learn one specific skill that seemed so easy for everyone – and my heart goes out to business owners that are struggling! I have BEEN there. I have felt the dread in dealing with something you didn’t want to do for your business. I have felt the heartbreak when something didn’t work out. And I want to help you not only get through those things, but learn from them!

Bottom line: it makes my heart happy to work with women to help them feel amazing and realize their worth.

In my photography, that is achieved through photos and an amazing experience. In my teaching, that is achieved through helping my students become successful in their creative endeavors.

I will help you figure out this crazy business stuff – whether you need creative entrepreneur help, or specifically help with business for photographers.
